2009: The best year to go to B school

12 April 2009 No Comment

one of these days, i was thinking about the impact recession is making on college passouts…specially those form iits/iims. and reason for thinking of these 2 brands was because society has a way of making them feel exalted…of pushing them to start thinking they are the most powerful men and women in the universe….not that they are, but there is so much of media hype and society expectations from these brands…that….anyways thats a separate topic. what i was thinking was about the recession impact on these college passouts…ready to face the world with fresh and chamchamati degrees….and i completely agree that 2009 is a bad year to graduate in. but all those who are about to face their entrance exams this year, shoudl not get too bogged down by the gloom they see around them. its a great time to get into a B school. you’ll get all your dope on what went wrong during the last year, u’ll know what to avoid doing when working in the corporate sector, u’ll get more sensitized to cost rationalization, u’ll get enough time to work on your personal Plan B…u’ll be better prepared for entrepreneurship…u’ll relax while the world at large presents a sorry picture….and u can rest assured that by the time u’re ready to graduate, the world would have left the recession behind, ready to tackle the new set of growth challenges, ready to incorporate you into the grind. inot the rat race…….all the best!
