This is a wonderful representation of Times Square, albeit with new-age internet giants replacing the well known landmarks….how many can you spot? a facebook post helped spot the following:
Yahoo, Amazon, Myspace, Google, Skype, Flickr, Youtube, Bluetooth, Technorati, Feedburner, Last.fm, del.icio.us, Digg, Techcrunch, Ask, Ad Brite, Blogger, WordPress, Rollyo, BoingBoing, Myspace, RSS, Zoho
Are there any more?

With all due respect, facebookji, i find it surprising you have made it so tough for anyone to search for facebook pages. i tried for 15 odd minutes, and other than the generic search, tehre was no way for me to search for a specific page or browse through pages. i can do so with groups, though. Odd, that when i googled my dilemma, i got to know that by visiting facebook pages i can actually do that, just the way i am doing with groups…odd. if pages are so popular (zoozoo for example) and so many people get confused about whether to go with groups or pages when launching a brand on facebook, then fb should sure have taken care of this teeny weeny aspect, and made it easier for us to search for pages!

Been to ibnlive.com lately? I personally think it’s a mess. With a 100 widgets vying for your attention, specially with each portal of network 18 fighting for a few pixels here and there, on the site, i would much rather stay away. It would still have been fine if the coding had been done right. But imagine seeing a footer and the footer links opening up at the top of the page? And then i thought maybe that’s a browser issue (had opened in IE), so i went to my dearest firefox, and the tables had truly turned there….the footer was now jostling for space with the articles placed towards the bottom of the page! (both screenshots attached).

Saw a story on alootechie: “A group of students of the 2009 graduating batch of IIT Kharagpur’s Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM) have launched ShaadiEasy.com, a marriage logistics portal that will provide prospective brides and grooms with information on marriage halls, caterers, invitation card printers, car rentals and other services involved in a marriage process.”
